Performance, Efficiency, and Lasting Value

We specialize in exterior upgrades—windows, doors, and siding—completed with the same level of care and craftsmanship we bring to our larger renovations.

Upgrading your home’s exterior isn’t just about appearance—it’s about performance, efficiency, and long-term value. Whether you're replacing outdated elements or rethinking the way your home looks and functions, we take a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every project.

Our Approach

While we often incorporate windows, doors, and siding into larger renovation projects, we also take on these as standalone upgrades.

In many cases, a focused exterior update can dramatically improve the look, feel, and efficiency of a home without the need for a full renovation. Occasionally, we encounter unexpected challenges beyond the exterior renovation we are actively working on. As a residential general contractor, we are well equipped to solve any challenge with our full team of contractors and subs across all trades.

Wexford, PA

As first-time homeowners, the clients knew their siding needed to be replaced, but they were mindful of staying within a budget that made sense for the neighborhood while upgrading the product beyond Vinyl siding. We worked closely with them to walk through options, providing guidance on where it made sense to invest and how to approach the project thoughtfully. They ultimately selected Versatex siding, a durable, low-maintenance material that offers a clean, refined look and long-term performance.

In addition to the siding, we replaced three existing windows that were deteriorating while carefully matching the style of the remaining windows to maintain a cohesive exterior appearance. Inside the home, we also resized a kitchen window to better align with an updated layout—improving both natural light and functionality.

The project was completed efficiently in just over a week, delivering a noticeable upgrade to the home’s exterior while setting the foundation for future interior improvements.

“Highly recommended! After dealing with a few contractors not showing up or not returning calls at all, I reached out to Evergreen. They were professional, responsive, and great communicators. Not your typical contractor! Just good people to work with. And, fairly priced as well. Call them first."

“Evergreen just completed a deck for my new home. They assisted with the design, selection of materials and had a few recommendations for improvements over the course of the construction process. FAQs

Will new siding improve my home’s insulation?

Siding plays an important role in protecting your home from the elements, but on its own, it has minimal impact on insulation. While some systems include a thin layer of insulation, the real drivers of energy efficiency are proper wall insulation, air sealing, and high-quality windows and doors. We approach siding as part of a complete exterior system, ensuring everything works together for long-term performance.  However, when installing new siding it can often be more cost effective and less disruptive to improve your homes insulation from the exterior rather than through interior walls.

Are there mid-range window options that balance cost and quality?

Yes—there are excellent options that fall between basic builder-grade vinyl windows and high-end custom systems. We often recommend products like the Andersen 100 or 200 Series, which offer a clean look, strong performance, and long-term durability at a more accessible price point. We work closely with clients to find the right balance between budget, aesthetics, and performance without sacrificing quality.

If I’m phasing my project, should I replace windows and doors or siding first?

In most cases, we recommend starting with windows and doors. These components are critical to your home’s energy efficiency and weather protection, and they are integrated directly into the siding system. Installing them first ensures everything can be properly flashed and sealed when siding is completed later, avoiding rework and maintaining a cleaner, more durable final result.  However, some of the siding products we work with make it easier to remove and replace window and door trim if you chose to do your siding first and windows/doors down the road.

Can you match my existing windows or do they all need to be replaced at once?

We can often match existing window styles and configurations, allowing projects to be completed in phases if needed. Whether you're replacing a few windows or updating your entire home over time, we’ll help ensure consistency in appearance while improving performance where it matters most.

Do you only install certain brands of windows and doors?

While we frequently work with trusted manufacturers like Andersen and Therma-Tru, we’re not limited to specific brands. As certified Andersen and Therma-Tru installers, we meet their standards for proper installation, which helps ensure long-term performance and warranty protection. That said, we’re happy to work with a range of high-quality products and can guide you toward the best option for your home and goals.
